The July 6th Planning Board Hearing for Hartz Mountain’s 750 Walnut Avenue has been adjourned (postponed) until July 18, 2018.

Hartz Mountain application to rezone 750 Walnut Ave from commercial to residential is expected to be heard.

“The Downtown Management Corporation (DMC) Board invites the public to participate in a Strategic Planning process that will cover a variety of topics including pedestrian safety, public space improvements, development, and re-investment in the downtown. The meeting, which will be interactive rather than a presentation, is designed to engage the public in discussion about the many issues and opportunities for the downtown business district.
Throughout 2017, the DMC committee and staff met with various groups to gather input. These included Township Commissioners, Planning and Zoning Boards, Cranford Historic Preservation Committee, downtown business and property owners and Township department heads. The Downtown Strategic Plan is currently in draft form but a final report with recommendations will be sent to the Township Committee.”
Birchwood Ave Site Plan application has been moved to the March 21 meeting.
Hartz Mountain’s 750 Walnut Ave re-zoning application has been moved to the May 16 meeting.
